Cop Sexually Assaults Woman Then Arresting Her For Protesting

As if that wasn’t enough for them, they sent her child to protective services and put the mother in jail for “making false allegations against a police officer”, which is actually not a crime. Now that it’s been revealed she was telling the truth, not only is the cop fired, but even the judge who sat there and let it happen is under investigation.

never forget, acab.

physically painful to watch.

this news station actually just used a trigger warning though!

fucking gross

I can’t believe the judge just fucking sat there and played with the woman’s child. She should be fucking fired too.

I was kind of iffy on reblogging this because it’s very disturbing, but I think it’s important. Notice how she was bullied to the point of recanting her story, because she knew if she was arrested her daughter would be taken from her. That’s important. This kind of thing happens to women a lot, where a lot of women stay silent because they know if they speak up about the harassment they’ve faced their life will be made difficult or their safety (by extension, their family or children’s safety) will be threatened by those who would prefer they stay silent.

This is disgusting. Way to go, justice system.

Graham Hancock’s TEDx talk “The War on Consciousness” that was pulled off their YouTube channel because TED felt it went against their brand, which is more than a bit ironic.

You’d think that the enlightened minds over there would realize that trying to bury controversial media only serves to draw more heated attention to it.

It’s a really beautiful talk, you should check it out. Thanks to Jon Vermilyea for sharing it with me.
